This was a series of Visual Basic Programs that worked together. The idea evolved from a programming group I was invloved in college with. Our main project goal then was to create a tile based video game.
In some of our group meetings we had discussions about algorythms to create random land forms. After one discussion, I decided to implement one of the discussed algorythms as well as a couple others I had read about. What I posted here are screen shots from my work on this project.
Once you create your world, use my 'world viewer' program to step inside and get a view from the south side.
A little buggy for areas close up, but still worth mentioning.
