For the last couple months, I've been playing this game with friends, and I've developed some strategies to win this game. These are some of these strategies I've found.
1. During the game setup, if you discretely pay attention to the way your opponent is setting up his pieces, you might be able to figure out where he sets his flag up. I notice that players will spend a lot of their early setup time concentrating on this area. If you notice that your opponent is spending his initial setup time in one particular area of his board, this would be a good area to pay attention to when playing the game.
2. Similarly, When I set my pieces up, I first randomly put my pieces each on their own square, then start moving pieces around, sometimes just randomly. I work on my flag area at the same time I work on other areas of my board.
