While randomly browsing the internet one day, I found out how to make hydrogen at home. It was really quite easy. I thought I would like to try this at home, so I did. I stored this in an empty hotel shampoo bottle. I always wondered, if I fill this entirely with hydrogen, will the shampoo bottle float in the air? The following photo shows the basics on how to create your own hydrogen at home.
Connect two paperclips to each connecter on a 9 volt battery. Bend and place the other ends of the paper clips into a container of water. At one end of these paper clips, you should see a lot of gas bubbling up. You can capture this, by hold a little shampoo bottle filled with water upside down over the gas. The gas will bubble into the bottle.
