The year was 1942. The allies were desparate to gain a technological advantage over the axis powers. Two allied scientists working independently - John Phillip Snooza from U.S., and Dr. Joseph Larm from U.K. - independently derived the complex equations to make such a machine work, and thereby give the allies the advantage they were looking for. Under heavy government security, the U.S. developed the precurser to the modern day SnoozAlarm - which even today bears the names of its co-inventers.
